More of the deck framing goes up. We decide the relationship of the rim boards to the locust posts (notching in) so that the rim boards appear continuous from the outside.
Looking at the end grain of the four boards of the beam, you can tell it's all from the center of the same larch tree.
Tom has dug himself into a hole but he knows how to get himself out of it. ;-) This hole to access the sanitary line in order to plumb the new shower.
