The crew have moved into the garage, taking down all the acoustical ceiling tile, insulation, and mountains of mouse poop. (They wore masks and I'm not talking about the mice.) The electric heaters and miscellaneous other unused electric elements have been pulled, freeing space in the 200 amp box.

Now they are framing for a tiny little gable roof to go over the door to the utility room. If the sill plate had been 2 1/2" higher we wouldn't have needed the gable; but the little roof will do a nice job of saying, "Here's an entry!" along with keeping rain from dripping down our backs as we fumble with the key.
