Day 162

Working on the west side, the crew has put up an extension to the gable end. They nailed a ladder of lumber together, nailed it to the house and topped it with ice and weather shield. Below the gable extension they nailed a piece of Hardieboard cement board trim.
We had run out of the white primed trim so ordered some more. The supplier only had "tan," which was OK, because we are going to paint it gray. When it arrived "tan" is uh, actually, gray, which is the color we wanted all along, except we were told they didn't have it. Go figure.

Hmmm. You have to add a whole lot of stuff for a house where you have snow and cold, etc. Our first house exterior was chicken wire and stucco. It wouldn't have made it in your area.

The show was a hit.
