Tom caulks parts of the closet to get it ready for painting. It gets a coat of primer and three coats of "Tailored Linen." The floor is a Pergo laminate floor. I will say that I bought a much cheaper floor for the closet (it's just a closet, right?) and after installing two rows of it decided that it takes just as much effort to put in a crappy floor as a good one, and decided to upgrade the flooring a little. Now Dave wants to have his office in here.

Hang on to your studio. The design is perfect. You'll have great light to design in, and it's a perfect layout for clients to come and discuss plans. And could you deduct the room from your taxes as it would be where you work?
