Note the snow on the ground; it's chillier today and the crew have learned to pile on the clothing layers before working here.
Tom is raking the gravel in the future sauna area to prepare for laying insulation and grid for the radiant slab.
Zack and Adriel cut the rigid foam to finish insulating the west wall of the basement area.
In order to pour the slab the crew needs to move its equipment from under the sunroom to inside the basement, provoking havoc with David's laundry process. A pile of my old architecture drawings from school had ended up on his folding table. Now the trash can is full and the laundry folding table is clear again.
Note the deck boards are now all sawn even at the edges.
And the water piping below marks the first day using our new water line dug from the road. This pipe is safely within insulated space, which is comforting now that the temperature is starting to drop.

Wow,your deck(s) is/are BIG... the lower one is beauatifully huge.
Sorry about David's laundry process ;-) we had a good chuckle about that. Hope you're building that factor in so efficiency can continue. Beautiful, beautiful..sigh. With snow, I suppose it will be too cold to have Thanksgiving on your new deck. So,what are you planning?

Are you glassing in part of that area on the west side of your new under-deck area? Wind block for winter warmth?
