After a few days a that were drier, the heavy machinery can work again. Cliff regraded the south side of the house, evening out ruts and ripples. On the north side of the house, Cliff negotiated the narrow slot between the shed in the house to back fill in the water line area, and also regrade after a weeks worth of the ground settling in a bit.

What will you do for a garage, now? L asked where you'd now put your cars, etc.

We've never had a garage. When we moved in 23 years ago, as renters, the garage had a carpet on the floor and a pool table in it. We've given the pool table to good friends, who have given us visitation rights.
