It's been raining all day, so the crew moved inside to do some framing. For the utility room floor, 2 x 8s 16" on center, and for the upper storage area floor, 2x6s 12" on center.
The partition wall gets a sheathing of plywood. Treated plywood on the bottom half will act as form board for when we pour the concrete floor on the east side. The regular plywood on the upper half will stiffen the wall, and also provide easy nailing for shelving or stuff we'll hang on the wall. (We'll have 1/2" gypsum wallboard over the plywood.)
